ASSOFERMET is the national trade association for the trade and processing of steel, metals, scrap and hardware. Founded in Rome on 8 February 1948, the association is a member of Confcommercio - Imprese per l'Italia. With around 450 member companies, ASSOFERMET is a knowledge-sharing space for the exchange of exclusive and confidential information: market analyses, price surveys, sector insights, dedicated press reviews and much more. The association is in constant dialogue with political institutions: institutional relations activities allow member companies to stay constantly up-to-date on relevant legislation and to see their interests represented in the main legislative and government forums.
